🤩 UPDATE: WE ASKED THE GOVERNMENTS OF THE U.N. SECURITY COUNCIL TO TABLE OUR REQUEST

✊ On Friday, January 24th, 2020 the NOW! team has officially reached out to all 15 countries currently sitting in the UN Security Council to demand that our request for a declaration of a Global Climate Emergency is tabled for debate.

✊ What do we want? For the United Nations Security Council to declare a Global Climate Emergency and decide on measures to counter the Climate Crisis.

✊ What's new? After reaching our first milestone, we sent letters to the 15 governments that are part of the U.N. Security Council, for them to table our demand!

✍ What now? The fight is far from over. Do your part, sign the petition: https://www.now.world/global_climate_emergency

🔜 And then? From the 1st of February onward, we will start applying pressure on the countries chairing the Security Council. First up is Belgium - people from the whole world will be able to send emails to the Prime Minister demanding that she takes action on behalf of humanity.
