Online Townhall: From the Sea to Detention — Yassine’s Story from the Global Sumud Flotilla

Join us for a special online townhall with Yassine Benjelloun, Atlas representative and participant in the Global Sumud Flotilla, who was recently detained by Israeli forces in international waters during the flotilla’s peaceful mission of solidarity with Gaza.

After days in detention, Yassine is now safe — and ready to share his firsthand account of what happened at sea, how the activists were treated, and what he witnessed during his captivity.

This will be an open conversation about courage, non-violent action, and what international solidarity looks like when it truly crosses borders.

🗓 Date: Friday, October 10th, 2025
🕕 Time: 7am NYC, 11am UTC, 12pm London, 1pm Paris/Rome, 2pm Nairobi/Gaza
🌍 Where: Online (link will be shared upon registration)

Bring your questions, your solidarity, and your voice. Together, we’ll reflect on what this mission means for the struggle for justice — and what comes next.
