When it comes to standing against authoritarian governments, the world has definitely a lot to learn from activists like Joshua, who has led the pro-democracy struggle in Hong Kong for almost a decade. In those uncertain times brought by the pandemic, he told us that we can still all have a role in the fight: “I call upon the world to keep an eye on Beijing's suppression. We can all step up for Hong Kong right now”.
