We are thrilled to announce that Colombe Cahen-Salvador (our co-founder and co-Executive Director) recorded a talk for the 2020 TED conference that was released today!
What is the idea Colombe chose to spread? “We need to change the way we see the world, and the way it works!” And that’s what we are seeking to do at NOW!.

“The underlying issue is that the way we see the world and the way the world works are fundamentally wrong. In the span of two generations, the world has changed more than in the previous 20,000 years. We landed on the moon, we can wake up in Shanghai and go to sleep in New York, we have access to a huge amount of information all the time, everywhere. Yet, we still think of the world as our immediate vicinity.”
Throughout this talk, Colombe explains why it is fundamental for people to unite across borders to solve the existential challenges the world is currently facing. She also takes you through the framework that has been guiding our work at NOW!: think globally, unite across borders, and leap forward to make the world work as one!
In the modern world, no wall or border will protect us from crises. We need to change the way we see the world, and the way it works, and we need to do it fast. Transnationalism has to be the way forward.
