✊ Co?
Tato akce zaměřená na občany se zaměří na crowdsourcing inovativních návrhů na témata jako: jaké jsou problémy spojené s politickými stranami v České republice a ve světě, jaké jsou nejlepší postupy, o kterých by měl zbytek planety slyšet a co řešení, která si přejí být předložena v zájmu demokracie. Zasedání bude zahájeno podnětnými poznámkami prestižních řečníků.
Na prvním zasedání akce bude panel na téma „Ženy v politice a veřejném prostoru“ s příspěvky paní Ladmanové, vedoucí Zastoupení Evropské komise v České republice, a paní Nerudové, univerzitní profesorky a kandidátky v české prezidentské volby v roce 2023.
Poté začnou konzultace. Účastníci společně formulují konkrétní, podrobná politická řešení problémů spojených s hlasováním, která budou prezentována na fóru demokracie v Aténách v roce 2023.
📝 Formát:
Akce bude zahájena panelovou diskusí, po níž budou následovat konzultace, složené z fokusních skupin za účelem 1) Identifikace problémů s dnešní demokracií, především se zaměřením na „sílu politických stran“; 2) Upřednostněte témata, o kterých se bude diskutovat; 3) přijít s konkrétními řešeními, která mohou udělat Keňu a další demokracie lepší a silnější. Akce je naplánována na 5 hodin, s lehkým obědem a přestávkami na kávu.
🧐 Proč?
Je zásadní najít konkrétní způsoby, jak učinit demokracii na celém světě odolnější. Za tímto účelem zahájila Nadace Democracy & Culture Foundation „Re-Imagining the Building Blocks of Democracy“, ambiciózní projekt, jehož cílem je přijít s konkrétními návrhy politiky v pěti klíčových oblastech demokracie: lidé, strany, peníze a vliv, hlasování, informace a dezinformace a rovnováha mezi zákonodárnou a výkonnou mocí.
Tato událost je jednou z pěti konzultací řízených lidmi, které DCF letos po celé planetě povede poté, co v roce 2022 vyslýchala odborníky na tato témata.

✊ What?
This citizen-driven event will be focused on crowdsourcing innovative proposals on topics such as: what are the issues linked to political parties in the Czech Republic and across the world, what are the best practices the rest of the planet should hear about, and what solutions they wish to be brought forward for the sake of democracy. The session will be opened with thought-provoking remarks by prestigious speakers.
The first session of the event will feature a panel on "Women in Politics and Public Space", with contributions from Ms. Ladmanova, Head of Representation of the European Commission in the Czech Republic, and Ms. Nerudova, University professor and a candidate in the 2023 Czech presidential election.
Then, the consultations will begin. Together, participants will formulate concrete, detailed policy solutions to issues linked to voting that will be presented at the 2023 Athens Democracy Forum.
📝 Format:
The event will start with a panel discussion, followed by the consultations, made of focus groups to 1) Identify issues with today's democracy, primarily focusing on the "power of political parties"; 2) Prioritize the topics to be discussed; 3) come up with concrete solutions that can make Kenya and other democracies better and stronger. The event is set to last 5 hours, with a light lunch provided and coffee breaks.
🧐 Why?
It is fundamental to find concrete ways to make democracy more resilient across the world. For this, the Democracy & Culture Foundation has launched "Re-Imagining the Building Blocks of Democracy", an ambitious project to come up with concrete policy proposals around five key areas of democracy: people, parties-money & influence, voting, information & disinformation, and the balance between legislative and executive power.
This event is one of the five people-driven consultations that the DCF will be running this year across the planet after having interrogated experts on these topics in 2022.
