Our Health Workers First Campaign is live!

On International Nurses Day, it's time to stand by those who have been saving our lives and kept us safe during this global pandemic.

That’s why we are launching today the Health Workers First campaign, demanding that the World Health Organization ensures that all health workers across the world get priority access to a COVID-19 vaccine, regardless of their nationality.

The campaign consists of:

  • A Letter to the WHO Director-General: asking him to ensure that health workers across the world get first access to vaccines.
  • A petition: to ensure that the WHO considers this letter and takes action. Citizens of the world have the power to put pressure on the Director-General, world leaders, and stand by health workers! Influential health workers all across the globe have signed and are supporting this campaign!

STAND BY HEALTH WORKERS: SIGN THE CAMPAIGN

And we are not alone: on day one, citizens and health workers from all over the world have decided to join our call to ensure that no health worker is left behind.

We will not stop there, we will not settle for one day of advocacy, nor empty words. On May 18th, the World Health Assembly - the plenary session of the WHO - will convene. Through our pressure campaign, we want to ensure that the WHO Director-General brokers an agreement among countries to share enough future COVID-19 vaccines to protect health workers across the globe.

Stand by those who have risked everything to protect you from Coronavirus and join our campaign!
