Dear Friends, Can you believe that 2022 is almost over?! 🤯 We are still processing what happened in the last few years: countries refusing to share medical equipment and vaccines, wildfires in Australia, crackdowns on democracy in Hong Kong, and much more.
Despite the difficulties of lockdowns, since starting our work in 2020, we were able to experiment with lots of different campaigning methodologies, understand how to best mobilize across borders, and launch many campaigns some successes! We have managed all this work thanks to people like you that supported us with donations! On Giving Tuesday, we ask for your help to keep on going in 2023 and we promise we will work as hard as possible try to change the world. 2023 will mark the beginning of a new era for Atlas: we are gearing up to build a democratic system of global governance! Yes, nothing less than this. And for it, we will start by launching consultations online and in person across the globe to design a people-powered global governance. But, as with everything that is important in life, it won’t be easy: we are a small team, and we will have to really push to the limit to make this happen. So this is why we are reaching out to ask for any donation you can support us with! Thanks to your support, we will be able to keep Atlas running, cover the cost of our tech infrastructure, and organize local meetings for the consultations we are launching (you can read more in our last donors update here). In addition, as we are continuously trying to fundraise, we hope to be able to start compensating & expanding the team again in 2023.
