✊ What?

Join us for an event with Jon Alexanderto discuss what a Citizen approach means to governance & democracy! Jon has worked on the citizen shift concept for many years: as he put it in his book, "In the Consumer Story, we ask ourselves what we as individuals are getting in return for our taxes. In a Citizen society, we recognise the tax we pay as our contribution to sustaining the whole." This discussion could not be more relevant when it comes to global governance participation is close to impossible.
Who is Jon? Besides being an inspiring individual who always cheers on others, he is also the author of 📕 "Citizens: Why the Key to Fixing Everything is All of Us" and the co-founder of New Citizenship.

🧐 Why?

The world is a mess: inflation, climate change, wars & more. We have no chance to have a prosperous future unless we unite. That's why we are running consultations across the globe to crowdsource what a democratic system of global governance should look like.

So let's get started by coming together: the more brains the better.

📝 Format:

Every two weeks we meet online to brainstorm, debate, and hear from one another about how to improve democracy and global governance. This time, we will gather, introduce our amazing speaker Jon and talk with him about how shifting toward citizenship might just be a key missing element for a better future!

After this event, we will log the results into our consultation platform and encourage participants to continue the discussion online!
