Join us for an Online Townhall with Dr. Oby Ezekwesili on how to ensure that the UN is accountable to the people.

From climate change to poverty, the world is facing many survival threats that are going untackled. Those threats are already impacting us everywhere. They are global, and the United Nations fails to deal with them due to its undemocratic, exclusive and outdated setup. It’s time to act and come together to find bold solutions and push them forward. This townhall will help us just that by exploring how to make the UN transparent, and democratic & how to give people a stake in it!

Who is Dr. Oby Ezekwesili? She is an Economic and Human Capital Policy Expert, advising reform-minded leaders of countries on vision and strategies for achieving sustained, broad-based, inclusive, shared and equitable Economic Growth and Development, especially in Africa. In addition to having served as a Vice-President for the World Bank, she founded Fix Politics and the School of Politics, Policy and Governance, and co-founded Transparency International

This conversation will enable Atlas to further develop its programme for the United Nations Secretary-General Selection Process, that our co-founder Colombe is running in!
