will be our host for the 10 November Atlas Community Chat. We are very fortunate to welcome Vladan as he shares with us his extensive expertise on one of the new ideas about democracy emerging during the 2010s: Liquid Democracy.
In short, Liquid Democracy is a system where:
- Both representative and direct democracy are mixed in
- People can vote more often on issues
- People can delegate votes to representatives
- Decentralized communities exist
- Digitalization enables decision-making in complex environments

Format: Community chats last one hour, are hosted by one or more members on Zoom and are often recorded. They are structured as follow:

About the community chats: Every week, Atlas members host those online discussions in which one person presents a topic of global relevance and discusses it with others. It can also be a way of raising awareness about significant events.
