Community Chat | Activism in Nepal: A personal journey

Community chats: Every week, we host community chats for Atlas members, hosted by volunteers from the community. These chats are online discussions in which the host presents a topic of global relevance and discusses it with others. It can also be a way of raising awareness about significant events.

We are honored to welcome Atlas Member Sita Ram Bhatta as the host of our October 20 Community Chat. Sita Ram is an experienced member of Atlas and a frequent Community Chat presenter. He is an expert in the rich history of Nepal and the challenges the country has faced - past, present, and future - both politically and geographically.

In this week's presentation, Sita Ram will delve into his personal journey as a citizen of Nepal. He will describe his work as an activist and explain how he became interested in joining the Atlas party.

Atlas Community Chats are open to members and non-members.

Format: Community chats last one hour, are hosted by one member on Zoom and are often recorded. They are structured as follow:
1) introduction by members attending,
2) 20-30 min presentation of topic at hand
3) Q&A and general discussion
